Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of CalJoin, operated by Miguel Silva & Rodrigues Silva, Lda, Av. Diogo Cão N8 - 7C, 2670-327 Loures, Portugal ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

CalJoin connects to your calendar accounts with read-only access, presents a unified view, and lets you publish availability links that share busy time. Features, limits, and plans may change as the product evolves. The free plan includes up to 2 connected calendars and 1 shareable availability link. Paid plans, when launched, may offer higher limits and additional features.

3. Your account

You sign in through Google or Microsoft. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the calendars and links you choose to share. You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information.

4. Acceptable use

• Don't use CalJoin unlawfully, or to harass, deceive, or infringe others' rights.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Don't share links containing data you have no right to share.
• Don't resell or misrepresent the service.

5. Availability links & "visible, not unbookable"

A shared link is a read-only overlay of your busy time. It does not write to anyone's calendar and does not by itself prevent bookings. You are responsible for what you choose to include in each link. We are not liable for scheduling decisions made by you or your recipients.

6. Free and paid plans

The free plan is provided at no cost and may change at any time. Free plan features are limited to 2 connected calendars and 1 shareable availability link. Paid plans, when available, will be billed as described at purchase, including applicable VAT. Billing, invoicing, and tax may be handled by a third-party payment provider or Merchant of Record acting as reseller. Paid plan pricing and features are to be determined.

7. Third-party services

CalJoin relies on Google and Microsoft APIs and other providers. Your use of those services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party APIs that affect the service.

8. Intellectual property

CalJoin and its content are owned by Miguel Silva & Rodrigues Silva, Lda. You retain all rights to your calendar data; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

9. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or, on the free plan, to €0). Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or death/personal injury.

10. Termination

You may stop using CalJoin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, your tokens and cached data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, and disputes are subject to the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
